Why two days?
Pamukkale is about 380 km from Alanya and Cappadocia about 540 km – roughly eight hours by coach each way to Cappadocia. A same-day return would leave you an hour on site after a whole day on the road. With a hotel night in between, you arrive with time to look around, sleep properly and travel back the next day.
Cappadocia: under and above the ground
The Cappadocia tour leaves on Tuesdays and Fridays at about 04:15. Day one takes you down into a multi-level underground city, through Pigeon Valley and among the fairy chimneys, with the panorama below Uçhisar Castle and a pottery workshop in Avanos before the night in a 4-star hotel. Early next morning the sky fills with hot-air balloons – watch from a viewpoint or, on request and weather permitting, fly. The Standard package includes dinner and breakfast; Full board adds lunch on both days.
Pamukkale: white terraces and a thermal night
The Pamukkale and Salda Lake tour runs every day from about 05:30. On the way you stop at turquoise Salda Lake, then walk barefoot up the travertines and explore the Roman ruins of Hierapolis. You sleep in a 3-star thermal hotel and pass the Red Water springs on the way home. Choose the package with or without the Pamukkale–Hierapolis ticket.
What to pack
The hotel will ask for your passport or ID at check-in, so pack that first. Add a small bag for the night, swimwear for the thermal pools, shoes you can walk in all day and a warm top – inland, mornings are cool even in summer. Plan a lazy beach day for afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Could I see Cappadocia or Pamukkale in one day?
In theory, but you would spend almost the whole day on the bus. The two-day format gives you an afternoon on site, a night's sleep and an easier journey home.
What kind of hotel is it?
A 4-star hotel in Cappadocia and a 3-star thermal hotel in Pamukkale, both with dinner and breakfast.
Is the balloon flight included?
No. The flight is arranged on request and depends on the weather; watching the balloons from a viewpoint at sunrise costs €40. Both are optional extras on the Cappadocia tour.
Can I have a single room?
Yes – on the Cappadocia tour the single supplement is €25. For Pamukkale, mention it when you book and we will confirm the price.
