Questions & Answers
The practical things people ask us most – from e-tickets and pickup to what to pack and what happens when the weather turns.
The basics – how to book, how to pay and how cancellation works – are also answered on our home page. The full rules are in our terms and conditions and the cancellation policy; for anything else, just ask us.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to print my e-ticket?
No – showing it on your phone is enough. If the e-mail goes missing, open the ticket again on our 'Find your booking' page with your booking code and e-mail address.
How far ahead should we book?
For most trips a day or two in advance is fine. In July and August – and for the private boat, the dolphin swim and the two-day trips – booking a little earlier is wise.
Can we book a tour for today?
Sometimes – it depends on free seats and on whether the bus has already passed your area. Send us a WhatsApp message instead of the form and we will check straight away.
Can we pay by card?
No. Regular tours are paid in cash on the day – euros, Turkish lira, US dollars or British pounds. Only the private boat and the dolphin swim need a €100 deposit when you book.
What if we pay in dollars, pounds or lira?
Prices are fixed in euros; paying in another currency simply means the euro price is converted at that day's rate.
Where exactly do we wait for the bus?
Outside, at the hotel's main gate. Coaches are often not allowed into the grounds, so the lobby is the one place the driver will not look for you.
What if the bus doesn't come on time?
Traffic and other hotels on the route can cause short delays. If no one has arrived about 15 minutes after your pickup time, message us on WhatsApp and we will find out where the bus is.
We are in an apartment, not a hotel – can you still collect us?
Yes. Send us the address or a well-known spot nearby – a supermarket, a mosque, a bus stop – and we will agree on a meeting point.
What should we bring?
Swimwear and a towel for boat and water days, sun cream and a hat, comfortable shoes for safaris and walks, a little cash for drinks or photos, and a copy or photo of your passport. Each tour page adds anything specific.
Are meals included?
It depends on the trip: most full-day tours include lunch, while drinks are often extra. The 'included' list on each tour page tells you exactly.
Which tours suit pregnancy or back problems?
Rafting, open-vehicle safaris, quad and buggy rides, paragliding and diving are not recommended. Calmer choices are the Green Canyon cruise, the Manavgat river cruise or the aquarium – ask us if you are unsure.
Are there age limits for adventure activities?
Yes – trips with engines, rapids or parachutes have minimum ages and sometimes weight limits. You will find them in the notes on each tour page.
Can we have a boat or a tour just for ourselves?
Yes. A hired private boat carries nobody but your party and its crew, and private tours and VIP transfers run with a vehicle and driver of your own.
And if the weather turns bad?
If storms or high waves make a trip unsafe, we move you to another day or cancel without charge – and any deposit comes back to you. On boat days the captain may also change the route to find calmer water.
Should we tip the guide?
Tips are never compulsory. If you enjoyed the day, a small tip for the guide, driver or crew is always appreciated.
