About Mahmutlar

Mahmutlar, some 12 km east of Alanya, was a farming village not so long ago; today it is a busy small town with a seafront promenade that seems to go on forever, cafés and shops on every corner and many foreign residents who live here all year. The foothills start straight behind the last rows of apartments, so beach and mountains are never far apart.
