Water, slides and waves

With children, water wins every time. A full day at the water park in Türkler comes with an open-buffet lunch and drinks, while The Land of Legends in Belek adds wave pools, a wild river, shows and a castle-lined avenue to the slides. At sea, the pirate boat, the Big Kral and the Avsallar boat mix swim stops with games, jumping shows and a foam party.

Animals up close

At Sealanya near Alanya you can watch the dolphin and sea lion show from the stands or, from age five with a parent, join the dolphin swim in the pool. The Antalya Aquarium is a cool indoor day with a long shark tunnel and touch pools. Near Side, the Lion Park and mini zoo fills a morning with lion families and deer to hand-feed, and the Lion Park jeep day adds jeeps and the Green Canyon lake.

Gentle adventures

Families with older children can try rafting in Köprülü Canyon or a horse ride, where the youngest riders have a guide walking beside them. For calmer days, the Green Canyon cruise, the Manavgat river trip and the open-top cabrio safari need almost no walking.

Prices and practical tips
