A quad bike is the closest thing to a motorbike that almost anyone can ride on their first try. You sit astride it, steer with handlebars and control the speed with your thumb – and within a few minutes of leaving the quad centre you are bouncing along pine-forest tracks in the hills above Alanya, aiming for the next puddle on purpose.
Mud, gravel and water
The route mixes dusty forest roads with loose gravel slopes, muddy dips and shallow streams that send water spraying up to your knees. A guide leads the convoy and the instructors set a pace that suits the group, with stops for photos and a rest along the way. In total you ride for about one and a half to two hours; the whole trip, including transfers, takes around four.
Riding solo or two-up
A single quad costs €35 and carries just you. A double quad costs €45 and is shared by two people – one drives, one holds on – which works well for couples or a parent with a child. Drivers need to be at least 16, but no driving licence is required. Children younger than that can ride as passengers on a double quad.
Before you set off
At the centre an instructor explains the controls and safety rules, hands out helmets and lets everyone do a short practice round. Please follow the instructor’s directions throughout. The ride is not recommended during pregnancy or for anyone with back or neck problems. You will come back dusty and probably muddy, so wear old clothes and closed shoes, and bring sunglasses, a scarf against the dust and a change of clothes – bandanas and goggles are also sold on site. Pickup in the Alanya area is in the morning or afternoon, with the exact time confirmed after booking. Prefer a steering wheel and a roll cage? Choose the buggy safari; to add rafting and a zipline, go for the Köprülü adventure combo.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence to ride?
No. You just need to be 16 or older to drive, and everyone gets a full safety briefing first.
Can my child come?
Yes, as a passenger on a double quad with an adult. Please tell us the child's age when you book.
Single or double – what's the difference?
A single quad (€35) carries one rider. A double quad (€45) is shared by two: one drives and one rides behind.
Should I pick the quad or the buggy?
A quad feels like a motorbike – sportier and more physical, with handlebars and your body weight in every corner. A buggy is driven like a small car from a seat with a belt, inside a protective frame.
