Köprülü Canyon Adventure Combo – Zipline, Buggy and 14 km of Rafting

Some people can’t decide between flying, driving and paddling – so this day lets you do all three. In Köprülü Canyon National Park, deep in the Taurus behind Side, you cross the river on a zipline, take the wheel of a buggy, ride an open-top bus to a lookout and finish with a long run of white water on the Köprüçay. Instructors, equipment, lunch and insurance are all in the price.

Air: the zipline

After a safety briefing at the rafting base, the team clips you into a harness and sends you gliding along a cable high above the Köprüçay. It is short, fast and gives you the best bird’s-eye view of the water you will be paddling later.

Land: buggy and cabrio

Next you swap the harness for a steering wheel: about 25 minutes on dusty canyon tracks in a buggy, following a guide. Drivers must be 18 or over; younger guests and anyone who would rather not drive ride as passengers. After lunch at a riverside restaurant, an open-top cabrio bus climbs to a viewpoint for photos of the gorge.

Water: 14 km of rapids

The main event starts at around 13:00 – roughly two hours and 14 km of rafting, with lively rapids, calm stretches where you can jump in for a swim, and a professional skipper steering every raft. Back at the base you can look at the photos and videos taken by the team before the drive home; you reach your hotel at about 17:30, depending on the area.

Who can join

No experience is needed for any of the activities. For safety the zipline and buggy have age and weight limits, so tell us the children’s ages when you book; children aged 3–11 pay €20, adults €35. The day is not recommended during pregnancy or for anyone with heart or back problems. Wear swimwear under your clothes and closed shoes that can get wet, and bring a towel, a full change of dry clothes, sun protection and cash for drinks and photos.
