Legend Big Kral: Full-Day Boat Trip from Türkler

Even from the beach, the Legend Big Kral is hard to miss. The ship measures 67 metres from bow to stern, rises six decks and can take up to 1,100 passengers, and that scale shapes the whole day: you can lie in the sun on an open deck, retreat to shaded seats or stand right by the DJ – and there are nine hours to try all three. Families tend to book it for the children’s club and the shows, groups of friends for the buffet and the foam.

The route: Türkler to the Alanya caves and back

Boarding is at Türkler harbour, a short drive for anyone staying in Turkler, Avsallar, Okurcalar or Konakli. The morning swim is at the Mud Cave, after which the ship heads east along the open coast – a stretch where dolphins occasionally appear – and pauses briefly at Alanya harbour, with the castle walls and the Red Tower right above you. Lunch comes next, then the classic cave run along the peninsula: the Pirates’ Cave, the Lovers’ Cave and the Phosphorescent Cave. The afternoon brings two more swims, first off Cleopatra Beach and finally in Ulaş Bay, where the foam party wraps up the day.

Alcohol-free days or beer and wine days

The Big Kral runs two kinds of day at the same price. Three times a week – Monday, Thursday and Saturday – local beer and wine flow freely alongside the soft drinks. The remaining four days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) are alcohol-free, with soft drinks and water only, which suits many families with young children. Pick whichever date fits your holiday; when you book, the two options appear as separate packages.

Good to know

The buffet lunch covers chicken, pasta, rice, a choice of salads and fresh fruit. On board there are life jackets, shaded seating and a quieter area on the upper deck; on the open decks, children need to stay with a parent at all times. Our transfer collects you from hotels across the Alanya region from about 08:00 and has you back around 17:30. You pay in cash on the day – keep a little extra for ice cream, snacks and the ship’s photos. Prefer something smaller?
