Destination
Alanya

Seen from the water, Alanya makes sense: the castle on its rocky peninsula, the octagonal Red Tower guarding the harbour and the Seljuk shipyard cut into the cliff. Our pirate boat cruise is the easy, family-friendly way to see all of it – a wooden ship with a big sun deck, a crew that keeps children busy and a slow route with plenty of time to swim.

The route around the peninsula

The ship leaves Alanya harbour in the morning, passes the Red Tower and the shipyard and stops for the first swim beneath the castle walls. It then follows the cliffs to the sea caves – the Pirates’ Cave, the Lovers’ Cave and the Phosphorescent Cave, where sunlight makes the water seem to glow. Lunch of grilled chicken, rice and salad is served on board with unlimited soft drinks. In the afternoon the boat anchors near Ulaş Beach for another swim, and the dance floor turns into a foam party.

On board

There are changing cabins, toilets and freshwater showers, so you can swim as often as you like. If the music is not your thing, head for the upper deck: it has a quieter sunbathing area. Swim spots can change with the weather and sea traffic, and in rough conditions the captain may adjust the route for safety. If you get seasick easily, take something before you board.

Pickup and payment

We pick you up from your hotel in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Oba, Konakli, Turkler, Avsallar or Okurcalar and drive you back after the cruise. Children aged 3–11 pay a reduced price and under-threes travel free. There is no prepayment: pay in cash on the day, and bring a little extra for ice cream, alcoholic drinks or the photos the crew takes.
