Dolphin Swim at Sealanya, Alanya – Small Groups with an Instructor
Not a seat in the stands but a place in the pool: a short briefing, a life jacket and 15–20 minutes beside the dolphins at Sealanya, with an instructor guiding every move – morning or afternoon, with hotel transfer.

Most visitors meet dolphins from a grandstand. On this trip you are in the water with them. At Sealanya, a marine park about 17 km from the centre of Alanya, small groups slip into the dolphin pool with an instructor and spend 15–20 minutes close enough to stroke a dolphin’s back, feel the push of water as it passes and hear the clicks and whistles it uses to talk.
Before you get wet
We collect you from your hotel at about 09:00 for the morning session or about 12:00 for the afternoon one. At the park you register, change into swimwear and leave your things in a locker. The instructor then takes the group through a short safety briefing: how to behave in the water, what the dolphins’ signals mean and how to move so they stay relaxed.
In the pool
Wearing life jackets, up to eight people enter the water at a time. The instructor directs the dolphins, so everyone gets a turn – a gentle touch, a stretch of swimming side by side, a few moments you won’t forget. Phones and cameras stay outside; the park’s photographers capture the session, and afterwards you can look through the pictures and buy the ones you like. There is time for questions before the drive back – about three hours in total.
Who can take part
The pool is deep, so you should be able to swim even with the life jacket on. Children can join from the age of 5 when a parent comes along; ages 5–11 pay the child rate of €70, everyone older €150. The experience is not suitable during pregnancy or for anyone with heart disease or another serious health condition. Take off rings and necklaces before you go in, and keep breakfast or lunch light.
Booking and deposit
Groups are small, so places go quickly in high season – it pays to book a few days ahead. A deposit of €100 per booking confirms your session. Sealanya entrance, the briefing, the life jackets and the transfer are included; photos, food, drinks and the dolphin show are not. If you would rather watch the dolphins than swim with them, the dolphin and sea lion show is the gentler option, and for underwater life of every kind try the big aquarium in Antalya.

Frequently asked questions
How long are we actually in the water?
15–20 minutes with the dolphins. With the drive, the briefing and the photos, plan on about three hours.
I'm not a strong swimmer – is that a problem?
You do need to be able to swim because the pool is deep, but you wear a life jacket and the instructor stays with the group throughout.
What is the youngest age allowed?
Five, and a parent has to come along. Children aged 5–11 pay €70.
Why is there a deposit?
A €100 deposit per booking is needed to confirm the swim, because each session has only a few places.
Can I film it on my phone?
No – phones and cameras are not allowed in the pool. The park's photographers take the pictures, and you can buy them afterwards.
