Alanya Water Park Day – Slides, Buffet Lunch and Unlimited Drinks

Some holiday days need no planning at all, and this is one of them. We pick you up in the morning, take you to a large water park in Türkler – about 25 km west of Alanya, with room for around a thousand guests – and bring you back at five. Entrance, lunch and local drinks are already paid for, so the only decision left is which slide to try next.

For thrill-seekers and for little ones

The slides range from short, gentle chutes in the children’s area to steep, twisting tubes that make grown-ups scream – some you ride on your own, others on a ring or in an inflatable boat. Staff stand at the top of every slide and lifeguards watch every pool. Children can join the games of the animation team, while parents stretch out on loungers in the shade of the pines. Tip: try the big slides in the morning and keep the hour after lunch for the loungers – sliding on a full stomach is not allowed anyway.

Eat, drink, repeat

The open buffet runs from 12:00 to 14:30, and soft drinks, juices, local beer and wine are unlimited from arrival to departure. Between meals there are snack and vitamin bars; the park also has a small shop, a photographer and tattoo artists if you fancy an unusual souvenir. Showers, changing cabins and a safe box – you get its key at check-in – take care of the practical side.

A few slide rules

Take off rings, chains and other jewellery before you ride. Trainers and slippers are not allowed on the slides, so sandals that stay on your feet are ideal for walking around. After each run, move out of the landing pool quickly so the next rider has space, and walk rather than run on the wet stone floors.

Getting there and prices

Pickup is at around 09:00 from hotels in the Alanya area, Side and Manavgat; depending on where you stay, the drive takes 30–45 minutes. Adults pay €60, children aged 3–11 €40, and under-3s go free.
