About Gündoğdu

The name Gündoğdu means roughly ‘the sun has risen’, and mornings really are the best time of day here: an early swim from a beach that is part of the long sweep of sand running east all the way to Side’s harbour. The resorts are set back from the shore with little around them – which is exactly why guests come: peace on the beach, and the sights of the region within reach whenever you want them.

Being in the west of the Side area shortens the drive to Köprülü Canyon, so rafting on the Köprüçay is an easy day out. Inland, the Altınbeşik Cave and Ormana trip (Mondays and Thursdays) takes you high into the Taurus, and the Manavgat river cruise runs on the same days. For slides and waves, The Land of Legends in Belek is just along the coast to the west.

Pickup in Gündoğdu

Your pickup time depends on the direction of the trip and the route of the bus, and is confirmed after booking: for Köprülü and Belek it is usually later, for the canyons behind Manavgat a little earlier. Please be waiting by the main entrance in good time.
