About Manavgat

Unlike the resort villages around it, Manavgat is a working town – the district’s shops, offices and hospital are here, and on Mondays and Thursdays its streets fill with one of the biggest weekly markets on the coast. The town spreads along both banks of the Manavgat River: upstream the water spills over a broad, low waterfall, and downstream the river boats head for the sea near Side. Hotels with a Manavgat address mostly stand on the beaches a few kilometres away.

Tours that collect in Manavgat

The Taurus valleys behind the town are where many of our best days take place. The Green Canyon jeep safari and the lake cruise reach the reservoir quickly, and on Mondays and Thursdays the Altınbeşik Cave trip climbs higher still, to an underground lake. The river cruise runs on market days, so you see the bazaar too, and families can choose between the Lion Park and jeep day and The Land of Legends in Belek.
